Employment will be on a zero-hour contract with remuneration based on LA hourly rates APTC Scale 3
We would like to recruit a number of Examination Invigilators to assist in the smooth running of exams throughout the year with key exam periods in November, January, and May and June.
Exams run Monday to Friday in 2 sittings 8.30 am – 11.30 and 1:00 – 3.30 pm. Successful applicants should be available for a whole session but we will arrange days and times around their availability.
Duties include supervising students taking mock and public examinations, preparing the exam rooms and distributing and collecting exam papers. You will assist the Lead Invigilator and Exams Office in running exams according to school and exam board requirements.
This is a great opportunity to support our students at a vital time in their education. Applicants should be reliable and have good attention to detail. They should also look forward to working with young people, be good listeners and communicate well with colleagues. Experience is preferred but not necessary as full training will be given.
All successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and online child protection training.
