It combines the delivery of our Religious Studies locally agreed syllabus and the PSHE national curriculum.  Through the Belief and Life programme of study we aim to empower our students with the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to confidently lead happy, healthy lives and to live out our ethos and values of Respect, Resilience, Pride and Kindness. Belief and Life is taught as a Social Science and its teachers form part of a talented and committed team of Social Science professionals. Within Social Science we offer a breadth of subjects including RS (KS4 and KS5), Psychology (KS4 and KS5), Health and Social Care (KS4 & KS5), Citizenship (KS4), Politics (KS5), Criminology (KS5).

You should be an enthusiastic and motivational individual who is an excellent classroom practitioner, capable of delivering high quality lessons in Belief and Life.  You should have the ability to work as part of a team of colleagues with a proven track record of supporting students to be highly successful academically and personally.

If appointed, you would join a friendly team of professionals who continually strive for excellence and improve their practice through a range of CPD activities, including professional dialogue and discussion of evidence-based pedagogy. The successful applicant will be required to teach a range of key stages, as well as having excellent organisational and inter-personal skills.
