Extra Curricular Activities
Pupils value the wide range of extra-curricular activities- Ofsted 2023
Most Waingels Extracurricular Activities, Clubs and Interventions for students for Autumn Term 2026-27 will begin from Monday 12th September 2026. All Extracurricular Activities will be published on Arbor for parents/carers to view and book places, unless the activity is 'by invitation only', and will be 'live' for bookings from 4pm on Thursday 10th September. If you have any questions about the Extracurricular Activities listed, please do contact the relevant member(s) of staff using the email links below.
We have a wide range of extra-curricular clubs for students to choose from and these change each term so that students will always find something that they are interested in. We encourage all students to take part in at least one extra-curricular club per year. Places for activities should be booked via the link you have been emailed. If you have any enquiries about specific clubs, please contact the Club Leader listed under each extra-curricular activity.
Focus Hub
The Den Team runs the Focus Hub Monday to Thursday, from 3-4pm, in R022/R024 for students who need space to complete their independent learning.
The Den Team invite students who they think will benefit from this space, but any and all students are welcome to attend.
You can sign students up to attend the focus hub using Arbor clubs, however, students who attend on the day will be added to the register.
